Total Controlled Environment Agriculture (TCEA)
Control all aspects of crop production

What is TCEA?
TCEA takes Controlled Environment Agriculture (such as greenhouse production) one step further, by allowing the grower to control every aspect of a crop’s environment. Rather than relying on natural light or semi-controlled structures, TCEA uses artificial lighting, hydroponics, and HVAC technology to regulate:
• temperature
• humidity
• airflow
• irrigation
• nutrition
Why TCEA matters
Grow regardless of external weather conditions
Controlled Environment Agriculture is often reliant on natural light to grow crops. It also requires large amounts of flat land to grow at scale, which can often be vulnerable to extreme weather events (such as flash floods or hail). TCEA and vertical farming allows for higher yields to be reliably produced from a smaller physical footprint.

Benefits of TCEA
Growing in control
TCEA helps growers to reduce operating costs with modular, scalable and resource-efficient technology, all working to ensure cost-effective, consistent produce.
