IGS is delighted to have been awarded silver at the 2020 British Farming Awards in the Agri-Tech Innovator of the Year category.

The event, which was broadcast online and hosted by Vernon Kay, showcased the innovation and achievements of British farmers across the agricultural industry.

Chief Executive of IGS, David Farquhar, commented: “British farming is absolutely world-leading and it's a real honour to be recognised by the industry as we continually look for new ways to innovate and work in partnership with traditional agricultural producers to ensure sustainable food supplies for future generations.

“The competition was exceptionally strong and it’s amazing to see IGS listed alongside some of the most forward-thinking and innovative people and businesses in the agriculture industry. This year has been a real challenge for many, but it was a real joy to see everyone come together and celebrate virtually!”

The awards gave opportunity to shine a spotlight on the emerging new agri-technologies coming into the industry along with talented new entrants and a hugely diverse array of diversification enterprises.
