Inventory and Project Analyst

Employing over 220 people, IGS is now in full scale up mode with an ambitious and aggressive recruitment plan to help fuel their commercial growth. We are now looking to make a key hire into the business of an Inventory and Project Analyst.Reporting into the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Analyst will manage and control our inventory flow through our ERP system and assist in project deployment processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of IGS transactions and reporting both within the Supply Chain organisation and externally with other functions and in alignment with IGS business needs and values.
Key responsibilities
- Control the transactions and transactional flow for the move of all material through the IGS ERP system.
- Own and control the sales order placement and transaction process.
- Own and control the internal and external work order transactions processes.
- Working with the Material Programme managers, mange the material planning and expediting of shortages to meet customer deployment dates.
- Assist and plan the material clean to build and kitting processes.
- With the Inventory Manager, develop and deploy an Inventory reporting package to measure our material control effectiveness.
- With the Inventory Manager, develop and deploy an Excess and Obsolescence process.
- Support the finance team to include month end reconciliation and root cause of variances.
- SME for ERP system on all that is related to Inventory transactions.
- Support Inventory forecasting/planning/modelling.
Ideal candidate
This role will suit experienced Inventory Analysts, Inventory and Stock Controllers and Warehouse Analysts with experience in production planning and manufacturing. You will have an excellent appreciation of ERP systems (ideally Emax or SAP). The successful candidate has the ability to understand complex inventory process flows, interrogate supply chain activity and transactions, reconcile ERP platforms and manage cycle count procedures. You are highly analytical, have a good head for numbers and the ability to work cross functionally with other supply chain and finance teams.
