IGS has been named amongst the shortlisted companies in the2020 FoodTech 500, compiled by Forward Fooding. The top 500 global companies have been selected from more than 2,000 applicants from more than 60 countries worldwide.

The FoodTech 500 is the first definitive list of the global entrepreneurial talent at the intersection between food, technology, and sustainability and recognises the innovation that is taking place across the sector. It considers both startup and scaleup companies that are acting as a force of good for creating a brighter future of food.

David Farquhar, IGS Chief Executive, commented: “As IGS continues to grow and expand, it’s a real honour to see our name recognised alongside some of the most influential and forward-thinking organisations in the world. We’re constantly striving for excellence, and having those efforts recognised on a global platform is testament to how hard our team works each and every day.”

In February 2021, Forward Fooding will unveil the rankings of all those included in the 2020 FoodTech 500 list, based on a number of different criteria including digital footprint and sustainability.
