I have lived in a small historic town in Fife called Falkland for the past 20 years. On my doorstep is the Falkland heritage and community estate, where there are stunningly beautiful walks, and cycle routes into the surrounding countryside. I have been married to my wife Rita for 32 years, and we have 3 children. My son John, who is studying to become a teacher, my eldest daughter Lisa, who is currently studying at college to work in zoology, and my youngest daughter, Emma who is studying for a degree in police studies, with a view of joining the police later next year. I began my engineering career as an apprentice, later moving on to studying full time at Herriot-watt university for my bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering. My experience ranges from test engineer, senior engineer, then on to engineering manager. My hobbies are quite varied, but I enjoy working with my hands. As a close family, we just love caravanning, sightseeing, walking and cycling.
