Say hello to
Dr Khalid Abdulla
After graduating from Edinburgh University with an MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, I worked on the design and manufacture of machines to generate electricity from ocean waves. I then took a career break to do a PhD at Melbourne University optimising the operation of battery energy storage systems.
I'm an energy geek at heart, and I'm excited to leverage the vast and varied datasets IGS towers generate to make their operation as efficient and cost-effective as possible.
In my spare time I enjoy hill walking and open water swimming.
